Using the Dashcam desktop app, you can automatically attach clips to new Jira issues. You no longer need to use the Chrome extension as previously stated.

What you need:

  • An active Dashcam account

  • and install Dashcam on a Mac or Windows

  • A Jira account

Let's dig into what this allows you to do, then let's set it up!

Activating the Jira integration

  1. Now click the switch to enable the Jira integration. A pop-up will open asking for your Atlassian credentials for Jira.

(Note: you should have permission to add an app to your Jira instance, you might have to ask your Jira admin to enable them for you)

  2. Select from the dropdown which Jira instance you want to create issues in. Our integration will create an Issue or an Epic and attach clips to them.
